About AraPacis

AraPacis is a Montreal-based band formed in 2003 by guitarist Jerry Fielden. Known for its genre-defying approach, AraPacis blends classic metal, doom, progressive rock, and hard rock into a sound that’s both timeless and innovative.

Over the years, the band has collaborated with legendary musicians and vocalists (Don Airey, Vinny Appice, Derek Sherinian, Kayla Dixon, etc.,) released critically acclaimed albums, and performed across their native Quebec and others. Their music is marked by powerful vocals, intricate guitar work, and a fearless embrace of musical experimentation.

AraPacis continues to evolve, pushing boundaries while staying true to its roots. Whether you're a fan of vintage metal or modern prog, there's something in their discography for you.

The band’s name, Latin for “Altar of Peace,” refers to the Ara Pacis in Rome, built by the Emperor Augustus, and reflects their commitment to creating music that challenges, inspires, and resonates. With each release, AraPacis reaffirms its place as one of Canada’s most original and uncompromising rock acts.

AraPacis is more than a band—it’s a musical journey through time, emotion, and sonic landscapes. Dive into their catalog and discover the sound of evolution.
